I had a mostly pleasant experience at Courtyard Milwaukee Downtown, though there were a few hiccups. The hotel itself is clean and cozy, located conveniently near attractions and restaurants. However, I struggled with the breakfast hours and found the bathroom fan quite loud. Overall, if a few changes are made, I could see myself returning.
Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom design was inconvenient since the light and fan were connected with no option to turn off one without the other. This made it hard to enjoy quiet moments.
Service
5.0
While some staff were very friendly, particularly the valet service, I had a frustrating interaction with a front desk employee who was quite rude during a request for a different room. The service needed more training on handling guest concerns.
Location
9.0
I loved the downtown location, which made it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options. The proximity to Third Street Market was a big plus for me.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast experience was less than ideal since I couldn't get food on the weekend mornings before 7am, which was frustrating as a business traveler. The options were good when they were available.
Facilities
7.0
I found the overall facilities well-maintained, including the fitness center and pool area. However, there could be improvements in cleanliness and upkeep, especially in the bathrooms.

6.4/10
My stay at Courtyard Milwaukee Downtown was quite pleasant overall. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, particularly Nate and Domonique, making check-in smooth and enjoyable. However, I did run into a few issues; the swimming pool area was closed for renovations, which I wasn't informed about prior to my arrival, and there was quite a bit of noise from housekeeping in the mornings that made it tough to sleep in. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of my room, along with the location that made it easy to explore the downtown area.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Courtyard Milwaukee Downtown. The front desk staff, Nate and Domonique, were really good and friendly, making me feel welcomed. However, the room felt a bit dated, and I noticed some cleanliness issues like stained linens and a rough bathroom. The location was great, allowing easy access to local attractions, but the disturbances from the dumpster area in the morning were quite bothersome.

The dining experience was decent. Though the breakfast was prepared by Starbucks and had limited options, the room service I tried was hot and delicious.

The hotel had good facilities, though some needs maintenance. The fitness center was adequately equipped, but I wish there had been options for laundry service, especially after getting caught in the rain.

The clean and spacious room made me feel comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring downtown. However, the breakfast situation was initially disappointing, especially with renovations ongoing in the bistro area. I appreciated the valet service, but the parking could have been clearer. Overall, a nice visit! 😊🌆
